First Generation Funding for Con College

Confederation College is getting $400,000 from the
Provincial Government to develop programs that will help students become the
first in their family to move on to the post-secondary level.
Con College Spokesperson Reg Jones says not many Colleges received
the funding, so it came as a surprise.

Jones says they will be working with area School Boards to attract
“first-generation” students.
