Forest Stewardship Council Concerned With Resolute Move

An international organization which certifies forestry operations is expressing concern with legal action being taken by Resolute Forest Products against Rainforest Alliance.
The Forest Stewardship Council says the company launched the suit in an effort to prevent an audit report of its forestry activities in northwestern Ontario from being published.
While it says it’s taking no sides in the dispute, the council disapproves of Resolute’s decision instead of opting for a dispute resolution process.
