The Northern Ontario Tourist Outfitters Association is hoping it can work more closely with forest companies over the use of crown land.
The Ministry of Tourism is giving the Outfitters Association 480-thousand dollars to hire foresters to work on Resource Stewardship agreements with lumber companies.
Doug Reynolds, the Executive Director of NOTO, says tourism should benefit from more cooperation.
Reynolds adds both groups depend on crown land.
