The Northwestern Ontario Aboriginal Youth Forestry Development
program will continue to be offered by Confederation College thanks to a
$323,000 Provincial grant.
The course teaches woodlands operations and firefighting skills.
Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro says their goal is to give First
Nation youth the chance to gain experience in the industrial sector.
