Former Kenora-Rainy River MP John Reid is leaving the Canadian
Information Commissioner post after 7-years of service.
Reid says there are still a number of things he would like to see
changed.
Reid says it’s frustrating that several politicians are still unwilling
to share documents, such as the anti-terrorism act and the whistleblower
bill.
Reid has also released his final report on the Government’s fiscal year
and notes he’s pleased the Federal court has finally decided to support the
Commissioner’s powers.
