Former teacher to jail

12 months behind bars.
That sentence for 54 year old Bruce Hemsworth from Mr Justice Peter Bishop after the former Dryden teacher pleaded guilty to 3 charges of committing an indecent act on a female.
The charges related to incidents that occured in 1973, 78 & 79.
Police would not confirm or deny the victims were students at the time as that could lead to their identity becoming public.
Hemsworth retired from the Keewaitin Patricia District School Board last June.
