The Town of Fort Frances has now received all of the provincial funding for the Kings Highway reconstruction project.
Town Operations Manager Doug Brown notes just over 1.3 million dollars has come through the connecting link program.
Despite rain delays, Brown says the entire four-block stretch, consisting of widening, water and sewer main replacement and repaving, should be finished by freeze up in the fall.
Although the project has caused an inconvenience along the so-called fast food strip, Brown adds most businesses and motorists understand the work is necessary.
