Fort Frances Not Out Of Woods Yet

Fort Frances is safe, but they are not out of the woods yet.
That from Fire Chief Frank Sheppard.
Sheppard says with all the steps taken, homes and key infrastructure are well protected.
Sheppard is optimistic water won’t touch many of the sandbags now in place, but says they’re ready in case that does happen.
He is confident residents are also very safe, noting just one injury related to the emergency.
That involved a contracted worker and the repair of a sewer break.
