Thunder Bay Police have charged a 22-year-old man in connection with the death of Webequie teen Braiden Jacob.
Police say Jonathan Yellowhead is in custody to answer to a second-degree murder charge.
He will appear in court again on Tuesday.
Yellowhead was arrested Friday just after 5:00pm.
He also face one count of breach of probation.
Thunder Bay Police say the arrest was made with help from Nishnawbe-Aski Police and indicate it happened somewhere outside of the city.
Yellowhead is a resident of Eabametoong, 366-kilometres north of Thunder Bay.
