Four local First Nations are benefiting from Northern Ontario Heritage funding.

Makoose Wood Innovations in Wabauskang is welcoming nearly $160,000 to expand their sawmill operation, with seven new jobs coming on-line.
Slate Falls is looking at $100,000 to complete the construction of the community’s multi-purpose centre.
Nibinamik is getting more than $37,000 to study the feasibility of building a small business multi-use centre in the community.
