A new report card on Ontario Elementary Schools shows a lot of work is
needed in Sioux Lookout.
The Fraser Institute rankings has Sioux Mountain Public School near
the bottom with a 0.1 out of 10 score and Sacred Heart with a 3.3 in
reading, writing and math.
Co-Author Peter Cowley says the report is a good tool for parents and
administration.

The remaining Regional Schools are showing improvement as 7 centres are
above the Provincial average including the Golden Learning Centre in
Balmertown as well as Riverview, St.Joseph’s and Pinewood Schools in Dryden.
