Freak Incident Injures Keewatin Man

A 20-year-old Keewatin man is in a Duluth Hospital following a freak
snow machine collision on the weekend.
OPP say 2-men were sledding in the Muriel Lake area, Northwest of
Kenora when one of the machines encountered mechanical problems.
The driver got off and began working on the sled, when the throttle on
the second machine got stuck and the driver fell off.
The 2001 Polaris kept going, hit a snow bank and became airborne when it hit the man who was working on his snowmachine.
The victim sustained series injuries, including trauma to the head.
