The remote Northern First Nation of Pikangikum will build a new
multi-purpose community centre with help from the Provincial Government.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is spending $508,000
towards construction costs.
The Centre will include a gymnasium, resource centre and coffee shop and
will be used for community meetings and youth activities.
The 11,500 square-foot facility will also house a bakery,
