Free Vaccine Available

The Northwestern Health Unit is reminding local residents about the
free vaccine for meningitis.
The shots for youth have been available since January 1st however the
response has been luke-warm.
Students in Grade 7 and Secondary students can receive the free vaccine
at their school and youth aged 15 to 19 not in class can attend community
clinics.
Health Unit Officials say that age group is at the greatest risk of the
disease the can be fatal.
