Full-day Kindergarten Registration Now Underway.

ou can now sign your child up for full-day kindergarten!
The program for four and five year-old children will be offered at all elementary schools in the area this year.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is encouraging folks to take advantage of Kindergarten Registration Week from January 27th to January 31st.
However, parents can register their kids at any time.
The Ministry of Education says a recent study found that those who completed full-day kindergarten are better prepared to enter Grade 1 and be more successful in school.
The Provincial Government says families can save up to $6,500 per year in child care costs by enrolling their child in full-day kindergarten.
