Years of lobbying the Province for more money to cover land ambulance
services may have finally paid off.
The Kenora District Services Board was forced to hike the Municipal
levy by $1.1-million last year because of a new contract for land
ambulance employees.
CAO Stain Leaf says he believes the Province is finally willing to
cover its share for the unincorporated areas.
