Funding for New Centre in Sandy Lake

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is providing Sandy Lake First
Nation, northeast of Red Lake, $630,000 to help construct an
early childhood development centre.
The facility will house a wide range of early childhood, prenatal,
infant health and nutrition programs.
Government officials say the new centre will provide a healthy
environment that will also contribute to better early childhood care.
