Funding For Snowmobile Clubs

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is getting a boost from the provincial government.
The Minister of Tourism has presented the O-F-S-C a cheque for three million dollars to help maintain trails across the province this winter.
Ian Pizey, the Kenora-based Vice-President of the O-F-S-C, says the funding is aimed at improving the trail system and encouraging snowmobile tourism.
The funding is the first installment of a five-year funding guarantee of 15 million dollars from the provincial government.
