The man accused of causing a Greyhound bus crash more than a year ago near Upsala is now facing more charges.
23-year-old Shaun Davis of Nova Scotia has been charged with assault and threatening death or bodily harm in connection with an incident at the Thunder Bay Jail last summer.
Meantime, Davis will be tried on a number of charges next month including manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death.
In December of 2000, he allegedly grabbed the steering wheel of a bus causing it to veer off the road and crash.
An elderly London woman later died as a result of injuries she suffered.
Davis’ trial is scheduled to begin February 11th in Thunder Bay.
