Environment Canada says the unseasonably warm weather will continue for a few more days in Northwestern Ontario.
Forecaster Alain Deguire says cold, arctic air which normally envelopes the region at this time of year has been forced well to the north of us by a a series of low pressure systems.
Dryden, Red Lake and Sioux Lookout were among the communitie that set new record highs this week.
Temperatures are expected to return to near normal values on Monday.
