Ontario is investing $5-million in their Species At Risk Stewardship Program.
The money will be used to support over 100 projects that will promote conservation.
Some of the projects include engaging community members to protect an endagered shoreline bird on Great Lakes beaches and supporting the collection of aboriginal traditional knowledge on wolverine, lake sturgeon and caribou.
