Funding for Wasaya Airlines

Wasays Airlines will take over scheduled passenger service to 21 First Nation communities north of Sioux Lookout and Red Lake.
The phase-in date with Bearskin Airlines is set for July 31st.
The Federal Government is helping Wasaya with $2.5 million cash injection.
The funding will help the airline gain the capital it needs to grow and towards the purchase of 2 new planes.
