Fundraising continues for the Dryden Light the Ball Diamonds Committee.
The group has received $1,500 from the Chamber of Commerce for their volunteer work during the recent Business Excellence Awards.
The Committee is also welcoming $1,000 from Confederation College for the purchase of a pennant.
The group is hard at work preparing for next weekend’s Grand Opening Ceremony and Mixed Slo-Pitch Tournament.
The Committee is about $55,000 away from the first phase of the their goal.
