A local fundraising effort is underway to help a young 6 year-old girl who is battling cancer.
In February 2014, Caitlyn Chisel was diagnosed with acute lymphoma leukemia and she underwent extensive treatment at London’s Children’s Hospital.
Her family thought she was in the clear but have now learned the cancer is back.
The Northern Bands Hockey Tournament has committed to help raise more than $32,000 to pay for a stem cell/bone marrow transplant.
A donation box is now set up at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
Caitlyn will also be at the Arena Thursday and Friday and there will be a public “Gospel Jamboree” Thursday night starting at 7:00 at the Best Western.
Caitlyn’s Fund. For every $2 donation you will receive a draw slip for a $100 gas card Draw date will be on… https://t.co/UGz2c7pZX7
