Northern Ontario Party Leader Hitting The Ground Running

A grassroots effort is in full swing to change the political landscape in Ontario.

The Northern Ontario Party is now establishing its platform and securing a strong membership base.

Leader Trevor Holliday says they have received strong input on what issues they should base their campaign on.

Holliday says they have narrowed down the suggestions and the membership will soon be voting on a final list.

He says concerns centre around high hydro rates, cost of living and cuts to health care.

Holliday stresses the best direction for the party is one that is led by the membership and the people and not the executive board.

He notes who wants to be a member of a party and not have any control or say on which direction the party goes.

Holliday says his party needs to be “Northern Ontario first! And make sure everything they do is to ensure that Northern Ontario is first on mind not only today but for future generations as well”.
