Fundraising Effort Launched For Mexican Family

Cabo San Lucas may be thousands of kilometres away but for a group of local residents the area is just like home.
Adele Briscoe of Red Lake is involved in a fundraising effort for a family of five in the Mexican community.
Briscoe says they started the effort after meeting the father two years ago.
The families home was destroyed following a major hurricane in October, 2014 as the roof was completly ripped off.
Briscoe says they father works extremely hard with little money coming in and that’s why they stepped up to help put a new cement roof on his home.
Briscoe hopes to raise $4,000 and notes they are halfway from achieving their goal.
