Path Of The Paddle Canoe And Kayak Route Halfway Completed

The Path of the Paddle project continues to gain momentum in northwestern Ontario.
General Manager Carrie Nolan says the trail will have over 120-portages and 200-campsites connecting Thunder Bay to Atikokan, Dryden and Kenora before reaching the Manitoba boundary.
Nolan says the project is halfway done.
She’s hoping to complete the second half of the trail this summer.
The 1,000-kilometre water trail will be one of the main features of the 24,000-kilometre Trans Canada Trail.
