Funds for Water Treatment Plant

The Province has injected $2.6 million in the Red Lake Water Treatment Plant to upgrade systems in Balmertown, Cochenour, Madsen and Red Lake.
Bill Mauro is the Ministry of Northern Development Parliamentary Assistant and he says the Town is in desperate need of the funding.
Red Lake and area communities have been under a boil water advisory for over 4 years.
The work is expected to be completed in November.
The Municipal share remains $2.6 million.
