The future of Greyhound Canada service in Northwestern Ontario and
Manitoba will be discussed Thursday.
The Manitoba Motor Transportation Board will conduct a hearing on
Greyhound’s application to drop bus routes in the region.
Director Jerry Kozabul says the meeting is key in
determining whether or not there will be a reduction in service.
Kozabul adds they’re looking at having local bus lines take over
routes if Greyhound decides to cut back.
The hearing will be held at the Falcon Lake Resort and Hotel.
