Time appears to be ticking down for NextBridge and its plan to construct a transmission line from Wawa to Thunder Bay.
Spokesperson Jennifer Tidmarsh says they need to get permission from the Ontario Energy Board to start construction.
Tidmarsh points out that no hearing date has been set, even though they were promised a decision last month.
She stresses without a decision from the board by November, a 2020 completion date is in doubt.
Tidmarsh admits several hard decisions will have to be made.
NextBridge is facing a competing bid on the project from Hydro One.
