Dryden Volunteer Firefighters were dispatched to Ingall Drive for a house fire. at 2:30 Monday afternoon.
Thanks to a quick 911 call by neighbours and the lone residents action with a garden hose until fire crews arrived, the fire caused only minor exterior damage to the house.
Fire Companies arrived on scene and removed the siding and insulation checking for fire extension into the main floor and the basement with a thermal imaging camera, and completed extinguishment.
The fire started on the outside of the house and the Dryden Police and Fire Service are investigating the cause of this fire. Anyone with information is asked to call the Dryden Police Service at 807-223-3281.
