Three teens have been charged after an assault at Big Trout Lake.
Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police, with the assistance of the Northwest Region Crime Unit, laid charges after the incident.
During the early morning of Friday April 24th, 2015, officers responded to a residence after receiving a report of a 16 year old youth in need of medical assistance. The youth was later flown out of the community for further medical treatment for the injuries sustained.
A subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of three persons, all of Big Trout Lake. All three accused, age 19, 18, and 17 were charged with aggravated assault contrary to the criminal code.
