Garry Parkes Speaks On Run For Mayors Seat

Machin resident Garry Parkes has filed his papers for mayor.
Parkes says he has spent 15-years of Council experience.
He notes priorities for him include developing cottage lots on Ely Lake as well as expanding their airport and fixing area roads.
Parkes says that it would also be great to get another restaurant in Machin to entice people to visit.
He’s going up against incumbent Gord Dingman as well as Drew Myers.
