Gerald (Jerry) O’Grady

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Gerald (Jerry) O’Grady on August 7, 2012 at the Dryden Regional Health Center. He will be missed by his son Kim (Susan), grandson Michael and great granddaughter Harley, sister-in-law Fay of B.C. and her two sons Jackie and Danny and their families. Jerry came to Dryden in the early1960s from Quebec with his brother Bernie. He started driving taxi for George’s and eventually became owner of his own taxi business in the 80s after buying Ollie’s Taxi. He drove for many years before it was time to hang it up and settle down and enjoy his retirement. As per Jerry’s wishes, there will be no service as cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be at a later date. In Jerry’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave, Dryden, ON P8N 2X3
