How do we get Northwestern Ontario issues on the radar at Queen’s Park?
That was the topic at a panel discussion at the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association Conference, which wrapped up Friday in Thunder Bay.
Panelist and Toronto Star Writer Christine Blizzard said that Northern politicians have to stop being so nice.
Blizzard said that she was shocked to learn that Municipal leaders gave Premier Dalton McGuinty two standing ovations at the NOMA Conference..
She adds that individuals need to pick one or two issues and bring them forward to the Government.
