The Dryden Regional Health Centre has received the Gold Quality Healthcare Workplace Award from the Ontario Hospital Association.
The award recognizes organizational efforts to improve healthcare and improve the quality of life and the quality of care.
Chief Executive Officer Wade Petranik says they have done a lot of work within the past year on mental health in the workplace.
Staff have been working to hard to look at the full spectrum, including emotional and physical well being.
Petranik notes they are looking to reach “Platinum” standing by continuing their “Quest to be the Best” initiative.
He adds they couldn’t reach the gold status without the work of their dedicated and skilled staff.
