Good News For Needy in Sioux Lookout

The Sioux Lookout Out of the Cold Shelter will soon be open seven days a week.
The Community Homelessness Committee has just recieved 160-thousand dollars to keep the shelter open every day until the end of March, as well expand a soup kitchen and food bank program at the Native Friendship Centre.
Committee spokesperson Susan Barclay says their long term goal is to keep the shelter open year round.
Barclay is also expecting an additional 80-thousand dollars to further improve services.
