Red Lake Shelter Funding

The Red Lake Emergency Shelter has received more than 40-thousand dollars in funding from the Federal Government.
Kenora-Rainy River M-P Bob Nault made the announcement yesterday that will provide three unemployed people with work experience in the Social Service field.
The shelter provides services to the homeless in Red Lake during the winter months and offers them a drop-in centre, an overnight shelter, meals and laundrey services.
The funding will allow those in need secure employment in the future.
