RIDE Results

Results of the festive RIDE program in Sioux Lookout and Red Lake are very encouraging for police.
The five week old program wrapped up January 2nd across the region.
Sioux Lookout O-P-P say they had a perfect year with no impaired driving charges laid.
In Red Lake, O-P-P spokesperson Myra Rusk says the number of drinking and driving offenses were down from a year ago.
Rusk says more than 900-vehicles were checked with police laying six charges.
That is down two from the previous year.
