Government Suggesting Assistance For Airports

Premier Kathleen Wynne admits she’s concerned about the potential impact the new aviation fuel tax will have on some of the smaller northern Ontario airports.
Wynne made the comment Monday in the Ontario Legislature.
She says they will be looking at individual situations in the north and will try to help them cope.
The opposition call the new airplane fuel tax a job killer that will see airlines leave Ontario for other jurisdictions, where aviation fuel is cheaper.
