Sioux Lookout is set to launch it’s Community Improvement Plan Incentive Program next month.
Economic Development Officer Florence Bailey says business and home owners will have a chance to apply for grants to help with the revitalization of four project areas around town. They include the downtown area, the Gateway entrance into Sioux Lookout, Hudson and the Sioux Lookout Municipal Airport.
Bailey says the plan will help support business growth, the development of residential areas and the improvement of commercial properties.
Grants available are:
– Facade Improvements Grant
– Improved Signage Grant
– Landscaping Grant
– Application Fees Grant
– Residential Intensification Grant
– Cash In Lieu of Parking Grant
– Tax Increase Increment Grant
– Municipal Land Development Grant
Applications are being accepted until August 23rd, and can be picked up at the Municipal office or by visiting www.siouxlookout.ca
