The fire season is less than two weeks old, and already the Ministry of Natural Resources has been called out to deal with five wild fires.
Fire information officer Debbie Mclean says says the quick snow melt has changed fire conditions quickly in this region.

A number of districts in southern Ontario have declared fire bans due to concerns about grass fires, but Mclean says no such restrictions are being considered locally.
