Gravelle Not Worried About Ring Of Fire Project

The Minister of Northern Development and Mines isn’t concerned about the latest snag in the Ring of Fire mining development.
A government commission ruled against Cliffs Natural Resource’s road proposal for the area.
Michael Gravelle doesn’t consider it a deal-breaker for Cliffs, and is encouraged that they are still very interested in the project.
Gravelle says the provincial government and his ministry remain committed to working with all companies to move the project forward.
Meantime, Gravelle says he is also encouraged by this week’s decision by the Matawa First Nation to drop its court challenges.
