Gravelle on Adoption Records 2

After 80-years of secrecy and debate, the Provincial Government has
passed Legislation that will unseal Ontario adoption records.
Thunder Bay-Superior North MPP Michael Gravelle says it’s a long time
in the making, but notes it won’t be enacted for another 18-months.

n041 runs: 16 sec. out…the rules.

Gravelle says the bill still provides a “no contact veto” for birth
parents that don’t want to be contacted.
