Great Showing at OFSAA Ski Championship

Dryden High School sent 4-students to the OFSAA Nordic Ski
Championship in North Bay this week to compete against 600-other athletes.
Candace Glowa, Nathan Mallyon, Kjell Schmidt and Jed Nixon finished
within minutes of the leaders over courses varying from 4.3 to
10-kilometres.
Coaches are pleased with the results and say the exposure to
this level of racing will only raise the caliber of local skiing.
Peter Sorenson of Atikokan as well as James Robertson and Chris Reid of
Red Lake also placed high in the standings.
