The Dryden Eagles were flying high to open the Winnipeg High School
Football season.
The Blue and Gold knocked off the Oak Park Raiders 31-13 Friday at
Harry McMaster Field.
Quarterback Pierre Paquin had touchdown runs of 4-yards and 22-yards.
David Marion also found the endzone with a 35-yard run, while Sterling
Warren punched it in from 2-yards out.
The Eagle defence forced 6-turnovers, with Jared MacKinnon recording
2-interceptions.
The special teams unit was also effective with a blocked punt.
The 1-0 Eagles will take on the 0-1 Beaver Brae Broncos next Thursday in Kenora.
