The first day of the Dryden Blood Donor Clinic exceeded expectations.
108 donors gave blood Monday and 92-units were collected.
Mike Choi of Canadian Blood Services says they are looking for another big turnout today.
Choi says every minute, of every day, someone needs blood.
He points out that 52% of Canadians say they know someone or have needed blood themselves.
The clinic continues today at Dryden High School from noon until 3 and from 5 until 8.
The theme this Summer is ‘Sirens for Life’.
