Dryden Fire Number 79 continues to burn out of control Southwest of
Vermilion Bay and crews still have some work ahead of them.
The blaze has been knocked down to 2,221 hectares in size thanks
to the work of 31-ground crews and 10-helicoptors.
Speaking from the Base Camp at the Vermilion Bay Airport, Incident
Commander Fred Welch says fatigue and heat may be a concern down the road.
Welch says paramedics and a nursing centre are on site and crews have
taken a number of measures to avoid heat stroke.
