The Province has issued a set of regulations governing the
location of green energy sources in Ontario.
Large solar panel projects will be banned from prime
farm lands.
There is no word on how this will impact Dryden’s bid to secure a solar farm.
Projects of five industrial wind turbines or less will have to be at least 550 metres away from the nearest homes.
The greater the number of turbines, the greater distance
they’ll have to be away from residential areas.
