Green Party leader Elizabeth May says her new book isn’t just about politics.
May launched her latest title in Thunder Bay this weekend, and says it talks about what we have in common as a country.
May says where we stand as a country in terms of our record in the world, how we appear to other countries in terms of our foregin policy, the role of citizenship.
She adds she feels there’s far too much rhetoric about what divides Canadians.
May says the book she’s written, Who We Are: Reflections Of My Life And Canada, is a book that goes beyond politics and really tries to talk about the values that bind us, regardless of what province we live in.
She adds a lot of Canadians feel as though they’re not interested in politics and frankly I dont blame them.
